SO MANY WAYS TO GET HERE

FLY - It's easiest to fly into Liberia.  Brasilito is 60km and about 1 hour away from the Liberia Airport

 

SHUTTLE - there are many shuttle services.  We can help you find a good one

 

TAXI - not the cheapest way but there is always a taxi driver ready to take you where you want to go.

 

CAR RENTAL - We have Alamo Car Rental right across the street.  There are many to choose from.  Don't believe the prices.  They will add many "mandatory" fees and insurances.  Do you homework on this before traveling so that you don't overpay for these.

NOTE: There aren't many highway or street signs.  You want to know your destination and some of the towns you must pass through to get to your destination because you will be following directional signs all the way, like bread crumbs.

 

DIRECTIONS to find us: To reach the hotel from Liberia, you will starting with road signs for Belen, Santa Cruz, or Tamarindo.  In Belen you will 

turn right at the second traffic light toward Tamarindo and Huacas.  In Huacas you will pass the main intersection (hard to miss) and take the next right turn (stay on the asphalt) to Brasilito, Flamingo, Potrero.  You will reach Brasilito in about 5km.  After you see the big entrance to Reserva Conchal / Westin on the left we will be on the right about 300 meters past this entrance.  If you go over a small bridge at the bottom of a small hill and see the center of Brasilito you have gone a little bit too far.

BUS - Tralapa is a good one to take from San Jose or Cartago, especially.  The Tralapa bus station is 300 meters from the hotel.  It also stops at the San Jose Airport.

Another bus line in our area is La Pampa.  This is predominantly out of Liberia and into our area.

A third, very local bus line is Folklorica.  You will pass through Brasilito if you aim for Flamingo or Potrero.

 

All buses pass through Huacas and you many need to change buses here.  From Huacas take the bus to Brasilito, Flamingo, or Potrero.  The bus will stop in front of our hotel or shortly after, if you miss ringing for the stop.  Worst case scenario you end up in Brasilito Centre and walk back to the hotel (300 meters).  Stop at the market (Super Lopez) along the way and get refreshments for hanging out at the pool.

All can be found on the internet.  A ticket can always be bought at the station for the next bus.

 

COLLECTIVO - we do have collectivo's in Costa Rica but they are usually a taxi or an old rundown car or van with local people looking for assistance with gas while they are traveling from point A to point B themselves.  It is not like Mexico with official collective vans.
